i find surfing fascinating. I've only boogie boarded. never stood on the water unless I was on skis
Ian- what a beautiful and inspiring place to live! I'm not one for surfing.. But would love to sit on the beach and watch those that do! PNG is on the list of places to visit, for sure!
The pictures are beautiful. It looks such a lovely place to live. I’ve only ever wind-surfed, but my children have surfed on holiday and loved it. Where we live it’s a bit too cold to surf.
I want to visit! No I want to live there! I'd pass on the surfing though, not much of a swimmer. Fantastic hub Ian!
Beautiful but scary at the same time. I admire anyone who can surf because it would scare me too much.
Ian, I'm less worried about waves then I am about sharks
I've actually never surfed, but i've booogie boarded. I got stung by a stingray. That wasn't fun
well, if i decide to surf, i'll certainly give you a call. however, since sharks cannot survive on land, my best chance of not being eaten by one is not to go in the water!
it's the only way to ensure that sharks won't attack...
Great hub, Ian. It's so different from the parts of PNG that I know where there were lots of mangroves and crocodiles, not so many of either now and not much surf, either, but it is still beautiful.
Ian... I would probably be the first!
you're welcome!
