I have seen the worst
i have been the worst
My life was wild and reckless
Nothing mattered to me
Only my heart beat
I just needed to run and fight
I tasted blood on my lips
Got crushed in heart
Those were my days
Turbulent and violent
I was young and wild and free
With loose shaggy pants and rugged voice
Set me free darling- I prayed one day
With weary eyes, torn and broken I came
Until I met you
My life was a bottle of whisky smashed on a lost higway
I drank rum withe the angels
And the saints sang me lullaby to sleep
I dreamt about the daugher of devil himself
That was my life
From the east to the west
I flew with the Mary Jane
I never needed any one
Not a face less sinner or a righteous saint
All I needed was you
to set me free from this chains
Set me free from this pain that burdens my heart so deeply
I prayed, I cried and I died
But when I woke up
I woke up I heaven
I saw for the first time a real angel
The angel of my heart
That is YOU

dadibobs Thanks so much. Sometimes it takes so much pain to get out of a life one lives. Its a reflection of my life during my younger days. Teens mostly. Thanks for the comments.

My mind never stops working when it comes to poetry. Guess I have a contagious imagination. Should we call a Doc?. this young man needs therapy of some sort. Lolz. No dont. Not yet until I empty my mind then we call the Doc to come over to my residence for nothing.. hahahah. Cheers
