It had taken me almost two years to find and read all the 13 books that my mentor recommended to me. These are life changing books. Your life will never be the same after you, don’t just read but study these great books. Although most of them are available at Ebay, looking them up one by one in Ebay can be a bit of head ache.

That is when I realized I had to prefer a buyer guide containing brief reviews and links so you don’t have to waste your precious time searching Amazon. All you need to do is to go by the list and the links given and Bingo! I listed the books according to how I personally rate them. There is no way; I say one book is better the other. All the books are masterpiece in the way, business and investment principles are discussed.

The author uses his two dads’ whom he calls Rich Dad and Poor Dad to help the readers understand the principles of wealth creation. His Rich Dad is academically smart but lacks financial intelligence and so struggles financially until he dies broke. His Poor Dad, though not academically smart is financially intelligent and builds an empire and becomes financially free.

There are also many controversial surround this book. Some say it’s just a fiction book life Harry Potter. My opinion is, if this book, even though it may be a work of fiction, the book carries wealth of wisdom and insights into understanding your blue print of financial success, making plans and following proven strategies to grow your wealth.

If there is one particular thing that I could recommend is this book to you, I suggest you learn how to turn your earned income to passive (real estate) and portfolio income (paper assets). He calls this financial intelligence and discusses it in depth. How well do you know how to turn your wages to revenue generating assets so that your money works for you? If you don’t know, then this book is the place to start.

I now take a greater control of my finances after reading this great book and I see no reason why you should do the same if you desire financial freedom.

Outliers come with some impressive, yet very simple calculations that give you mathematical certainty on how to realise your goals in life. If you read the book and did basic calculations, it would take It takes five years at forty hours a week to equal 10,000 hours. A controversial read with. But comes with promise of a better, faster, easier way to succeed in business. It’s more like the controversial approach taken by Rich Dad Poor Dad written By Robert Kiyosaki.

Rework challenges your long held beliefs of planning. It says planning is actually harmful. There are some truths in the way the concept was argued. I unfortunately didn’t but the argument of the author. On the author’s argument on competition, I have greater clarity after reading The Blue Ocean Strategy. He says you’re better off ignoring the competition. If you read The Blue Ocean Strategy, you will realise that it’s better to create un uncontested market than to try to compete with others.

The book goes on to list few things which as I stated earlier maybe not be the way your expect. The author recons you need to think less, work less, have less number of staff and even don’t need to have an office.

Bottom line is that even if you don’t have all of, or few or less of the things listed, you can still do better in business to which I agree. Success is a matter of mindset and if you mindset is wired to success, whatever you touch, be it many or less, big or small, will be turned to gold.

A read challenging read indeed.

We all want to be successful in business but when some get there, they soon realise all their time is taken up by business and they have less time to enjoy things they used to do with family and friends who mean the most to them. Ideas to be successful in life. Ideas about starting business, ideas about positioning your product in the crowded world today. Ideas about financial independence and ideas that challenged your well held beliefs systems. They are nothing but a gold mine of ideas.

Ideas are like vehicles. Ready to drive you to your destination. But a vehicle can’t move unless there is a driver behind the wheels. Even then, if there is a driver behind the wheels, he has to know how to drive or else he throws the vehicle into the drain by just turning the ignition on. Your task after reading at least one of two or even all of the books here is to get yourself educated as the driver of your life’s destination.
